Meet Mary
Mary is a tenured college professor. She grew up in St. Louis, MO with three older brothers. Mary has danced in one capacity or another since she was a little girl, now studies the Argentine tango for fun, and is fairly certain that she will dance until she can’t move anymore! Mary is also an avid reader and looks forward to reading to and passing on her love of books to a child.
Mary teaches at CSU in Sacramento and recently won the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. Mary goes onto campus once or twice a week for half days, working mostly from her home office. This flexibility will allow her to be a stay-at-home mom. For the short times when Mary is teaching, she and Melinda have selected the mother of one of their closest friends, who is also a nanny, to care for the baby in their home.
Melinda about Mary:
Mary is a very special person. She is smart, funny, overwhelmingly compassionate and empathetic to others. She is the most insightful person I know and is always the calm in a storm. Mary has a great sense of humor, an extremely positive outlook on life and a genuine desire to make the most of any situation. All of these combine to make her a wonderful partner and will make her an amazing mom.
